The rock comes to life
Over the course of nearly 1000 years of its history, the ancient walls of Kufstein Fortress have witnessed a great deal. Now, the castle breaks its silence and allows visitors to share in its rich treasury of experiences during a 50-minute journey through Kufstein's landmark.
Accompanied by the sounds of the Hero Organ, under the wintry starry sky, it narrates historical events and the people who have lived, loved, and suffered within its walls. Through lavish light paintings, characters like young Friderike and the bandit chief Rózsa Sándor are brought back to life on the venerable ramparts.
